Paper yarns

The thinnest paper yarns in the world !

Paper cable yarns are used to obtain a regular air space between the copper conductor and the paper insulation. For this purpose the paper cable yarn is wrapped around the copper wire to reach a constant distance.

The paper cable yarn must have an exact diameter from spool to spool as well as on the complete length of a spool and may not become flat being wrapped on the conductor. Furthermore, the paper cable yarns can be used to exact standard measures as center elements or filling string.

The raw material basis of our products are special celluloses of those the necessary special paper is made. Our finest paper yarns from 0,20 mm up to 1,60 mm are manufactured of papers with substance starting from 13 g/m².
