After the destruction of the paper spinning mill during the Second World War the reconstruction was started. Paper cable yarns for paper-isolated telephone cables have become main sales products.

Paper yarns replace textile yarns due to lack of raw materials

The paper spinning mill moved from Julius Glatz into the buildings of Hemmer machine factory AG. Developing and patenting of the production of paper yarns by Dr. Erwin Glatz. Start of the production of paper cable yarns and vine binding twines.

Julius Glatz acquires the Hemmer AG machine factory in Neidenfels
